What is HydraFacial MD?

The innovative HydraFacial MD® is utilized as a medical-grade resurfacing treatment that rejuvenates the skin by deeply hydrating, firming, clearing pores, and stimulating collagen production. The technology involves a combination of the Wet Diamond tip (microdermabrasion) and the spiral structure of HydroPeel®  tips used in tandem with the proprietary vacuum technology of HydraFacial while infusing MD serums.

This combination produces a synergistic effect that refreshes the skin while infused with nutrients and mechanically stimulated to remove impurities to reveal the skin at its healthiest state.

How does it work?

HydraFacial MD requires a session that lasts approximately 60 minutes. The skin is cleansed, treated with a chemical peel, exfoliated, and pores cleared and extracted. After the pore-clogging residue on the skin is removed, the skin is then infused with a combination of nutrients that aid the purification process. As a result from the HydraFacial MD, acne and other skin conditions are prevented while the skin has a fresh and youthful appearance.

Your HydraFacial MD sessions are carefully planned according to your unique needs. For example, some patients require incorporating six possible treatment phases into one session.

• Vortex Exfoliation: With the unique and powerful HydraFacialMD wand, your skin receives proprietary serum that contains a combination of glucosamine and lactic acid. This phase immediately reveals healthy and glowing skin.
• Vortex Peel: The practitioner will also use the wand to infuse a combination of 1.5% salicylic and 30% glycolic acids as a light chemical peel. This phase only penetrates the epidermis (the top layer of the skin). During this peel, your skin will shed fine lines and wrinkles and mild acne scars. This gentle method does not produce scaling or scarring.
• Vortex Extraction: During this phase, the wand clears clogged pores and extracts blackheads using suction technology that is both effective and gentle.
• Vortex Boost: For this phase, your skin is deeply infused with various proprietary serum blends that contain a wide spectrum of nutrients, peptides, antioxidants, growth factors, hyaluronic acid, and various other power compounds, all tailored to your specific needs.
• Vortex Fusion: This phase is dedicated to restoring the skin and protecting it from future damage by applying serums rich in vitamins, antioxidants, and white tea extract.
• The Sixth Phase: LightStim Professional LED Anti-aging light to increase oxygenation to the cells, reduce inflammation and stimulate collagen synthesis.
